This research examines the application of this approach in realizing a child-friendly urban space in two process and content dimensions. The research strategy is qualitative and applied, in addition to theoretical studies and its conclusion, in the context of the feasibility of a child-friendly tactical project in the historical context and in the neighborhood of Sang Siah Shiraz, the indicators and priorities of children are used to form a focus group, in the field and Survey, examines. The data obtained from children's comments in spoken, written and drawing formats have been analyzed for content at each stage and used in the next stage to advance the project process.
The findings of the research in the content layer have provided an explanation of the characteristics of a child-friendly urban space from their own point of view and emphasized the importance of security and safety indicators, greenness, the presence of suitable equipment for children's play and leisure, cleanliness and hygiene of the space. In the process layer, the steps of this project can be applied to the five process of tactical urban planning; It means empathy, topic design, idea generation, project implementation and test, which is carried out with the highest level of children's participation approach.
The current research can be used as an experienced framework and model in facilitating child-oriented tactical projects by non-governmental organizations and urban planners and designers, and it can be effective on the decision-making and decision-making of urban management institutions for the legal and legal basis for the advancement of such projects.
